2019 Guizhou surveying and mapping skills competition opens

The 2019 Guizhou vocational skills competition for surveying and mapping geographic information and an exhibition of scientific and technical geographical mapping opened in Qingzhen city on Oct 17.

The exhibition was themed on "show the application and stimulate demand", and displayed the value of surveying and mapping geographic information that serves social development. This exhibition focused on ecological environment, big data, poverty alleviation, emergency protection, digitalization, engineering and application, vocational education, natural resources and space planning.

The Guiyang Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning showed the developments and achievements of the surveying and mapping industry.

Contestants at the competition included Guizhou Xinsiwei Technology Co, Guizhou Zhiqiang Real State Mapping Service Co, Guizhou Everbright Navigation Co, Team 105 of Guizhou Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration, and Guizhou Wuhuan Technological Development Co.
