Key Guiyang bureau moves to optimize its service efficiency

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning held a meeting on Jan 19 to advance the construction of major projects in Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone – located in Guiyang city in Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The review and meeting invited experts and departments in the fields of planning, construction and transportation to give their opinion on the planning and design scheme of two projects: a shantytown renovation project and a hub motor project.

According to the planned location of the projects and conditions, the experts and departments put forward suggestions on optimizing the internal and external traffic and the layout of the buildings.

In addition to basic support facilities -- including the public service, public transportation and sewage treatment -- they also indicated that the projects should pay more attention to environmental planning to improve the quality of life of residents.

The bureau will take on board the opinions of experts and departments, to improve the previous planning schemes.

The bureau will also provide planning services in advance, to accelerate the construction of the projects.
