Guiyang holds voluntary blood donation session

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning carried out a voluntary blood donation event on May 26 to mark the 73rd World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day, which falls on May 8 every year.

A total of 69 Party members and officials from the bureau participated, contributing to a blood donation volume of 13,200 milliliters.

When waiting in line, they wore face masks and kept a certain distance from each other to prevent potential COVID-19 infection.

Under the guidance of medical workers, they filled out health information forms, took physical examinations and blood tests, and finally donated blood in an orderly manner.

The voluntary blood donation activity organized by the bureau has become a highly-regarded tradition over the years.

Participants see it as a sincere and good deed that benefits both themselves and others, which also reflects the responsibility of Party members and officials.
