Inspection of PowerChina Guiyang Engineering encourages more progress

The Guizhou Provincial Department of Natural Resources inspected PowerChina Guiyang Engineering Corporation Ltd, in Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone on July 13, to guide the next phase of its work.

The inspection team was given information regarding the company's basic conditions, technical teams, instruments and equipment, market project contracting and contract performance, and systems of surveying and mapping quality management.

What the company has achieved was fully recognized and praised by Wang Long, the second-level inspector of the Guizhou Provincial Department of Natural Resources.

Wang then put forward specific requirements for the next step in its corporate development. First, PowerChina Guiyang Engineering is expected to provide technical support and guidance in areas such as disaster prevention and natural resources in Guizhou province.

Second, the company's advantages in geographic information data resources, technical levels and skilled workers should be fully utilized. For example, to provide administrative departments at all levels with surveying and mapping geographic information results and technical support.

Third, spot checks should be done following the "two randoms and one open" method, which refers to the random selection of inspection objects during the supervision process, random selection of law enforcement inspectors, and the timely disclosure of random inspections and investigation results to the public.

Surveying and mapping qualifications need double checking and more efforts should be spent in applying for another grade-A surveying and mapping qualification for the company.

The team members then randomly selected some of the company's surveying and mapping geographic information achievements made from January 2019 to June 2020 for inspection.

Also inspected was the establishment and operation of the quality system, surveying and mapping qualification management, and equipment operating conditions.
