Natural resources and planning work fruitful in H1

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning held a meeting on Aug 17 to summarize the progress it has achieved in the first half of this year.

In particular, the meeting summed up the achievements made in terms of the formulation of plans for national land space, the ecological restoration of national land space, geological disaster prevention, and the promotion of the integrated development of Guiyang and Guian.

The meeting proposed that the focus of the work must be placed on providing guarantees for poverty alleviation. Also emphasized was the acceleration of planning and compilation of national land and space, establishment of a land and space planning system, and the promotion of the integrated development of Guiyang and Guian.

It is also important to strengthen the guarantee of land elements through propelling institutional reforms for engineering construction project approvals and the integrated construction of land element markets.

The bureau is required to strictly implement its natural resources and planning supervision and protection responsibilities when working to promote the integration of landscape, forest, field, lake and grass resources.

The ecological restoration of land and space should be advanced in an all-round manner. In addition, great efforts should be made to investigate, prevent, and control geological disasters to protect lives and property.

It was agreed that the bureau should conscientiously do its part in the third national land survey. The meeting also expected improvements in real estate registration and surveying and mapping informatization. It is also necessary to deepen institutional reform, continue to consolidate the foundation of natural resources and planning, and build a good bureau team.
