Guiyang bureau focuses on fire safety

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning held a meeting on Aug 19 to promote a three-year action plan that requires more special programs and efforts by the bureau to address fire safety problems.

A similar meeting held at city level earlier gave instructions as to how to implement the plan.

At the meeting, the bureau appointed the people responsible and set deadlines, making sure progress would be made on schedule and of good quality.

At the same time, overall fire safety work was re-arranged and redeployed. All departments of the bureau and all units under the bureau will be urged to do their jobs pragmatically and meticulously to meet the general requirement that the "management of industries and of any business must include safety supervision".
