Guiyang holds Constitution publicity event

Guiyang's bureau of natural resources and planning recently held a Constitution publicity event at the city's urban and rural planning exhibition hall on Dec 4.

A group of the bureau's administrative divisions, together with the local real estate registration center and the urban and rural planning exhibition hall, publicized the Constitution, Civil Code and legal knowledge of natural resources and planning related to people's working and living conditions. The information was spread through promotional videos, posters, billboards, brochures and on-site consultation.

In addition, the bureau's staff members also addressed issues raised by visitors, which helped bolster their already sterling reputation.

The event was held to further establish the Constitution's authority, stimulate the enthusiasm of the public to learn and abide by the law and enhance locals' awareness of the rule of law. It also aimed to teach citizens how to use the law to safeguard their rights.
