Guiyang natural resources, planning body bolsters reforms

The Guiyang Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province, held a meeting on July 12, to evaluate reforms conducted in the second quarter of the current year and to assess the business environment evaluation report for 2020.

The meeting was part of the bureau's wider efforts to coordinate and advance comprehensive and deeper reforms and tackle any difficulties encountered in optimizing the city's business environment.

During the meeting, participants learned about provincial and municipal needs amid the reform process – in order to streamline the administration and delegate power, improve regulations, as well as upgrade services.

The bureau's advancement of the reforms and any difficulties faced in the first half of the year were reported at the meeting, after which officials identified and organized key tasks for the second half.

Several requirements were put forward during the meeting, to ensure that all tasks were implemented in an orderly fashion and completed on time. These included accelerating various reforms, carrying out various administrative assessments and approval tasks in accordance with the laws and regulations, as well as drafting reasonable reform plans.

Officials said the meeting effectively sorted out various difficulties in the bureau's reform process and helped boost the orderly progress of various tasks.
