Guiyang natural resources bureau plugs survey, mapping laws

To celebrate the 18th national surveying and mapping laws publicity day – which took place on Aug 29 – the Guiyang Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning recently organized a series of publicity activities.

The activities – conducted by the bureau, based in the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province –were held on-site and also offline from Aug 27 to Sept 2, to promote the surveying and mapping laws and general knowledge about the nation's territory with the public.

The bureau's employees went to residential communities and schools to hand out promotional materials, give briefings and answer questions.

The bureau also launched an online quiz activity designed to raise the profile of the laws, with participants able to check out the official website and WeChat account of the Guiyang Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning to learn more.
