Guiyang bureau checks Xiuwen's work on mine environments

A delegation from the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning recently visited Xiuwen county – administered by Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – to survey remedial work at the mines there to rejuvenate their environment.

Li Chunsheng, deputy director of the bureau, led the delegation and discussed a number of key issues with the representatives of the mining companies.

The delegation charged the Guiyang Institute of Surveying and Mapping with the task of monitoring the remedial work on the environments of the mines with drones.

The delegation tasked the mining groups with observing Guiyang's requirements to protect drinking water sources, recover vegetation, as well as to manage the overall work on the areas.
