One-stop service for real estate ownership transfer in Wudang

A one-stop service for real estate ownership transfers at the administrative service center of Wudang district in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, was launched in September.

In addition to the original services on the reporting, taxation, and registration of real property transactions, the service center also offers services related to water, electricity, gas, communication and television, as well as information-sharing and a parallel-approval mechanism.

People looking to carry out real estate transfer procedures will be given a form that includes all related items. Applicants can select the items relevant to them and submit the form to the joint-service window.

The form will then be sent to a specific-service window where workers will fetch related information from the website of the Guizhou Government Affairs Service.

Applicants do not need to submit any other materials and application results can be sent to applicants by mail. 

"I thought I'd have to go to the service center several times to deal with the ownership transfer. But this new system is so convenient. It only took me two hours to take care of everything. It has saved me a lot of time," said one citizen who recently did a second-hand house ownership transfer at the joint-service window.

The district will also further expand service coverage and improve the information and service sharing mechanism so as to provide more convenient services to residents.
