Guiyang bureau inspects geological environment recovery in Kaiyang

Li Chunsheng, deputy director of the Guiyang Bureau of Natural Resources and Planning, led a delegation to inspect Guiyang's Kaiyang county in Southwest China's Guizhou province on Nov 4.

The delegation learned about the geological environment recovery progress at Kaiyang's alumina mines. A technician from Guizhou's third surveying and mapping institute used drones to monitor the recovery progress.

Li has ordered Kaiyang's bureau of natural resource and planning to supervise the mine companies' efforts of protecting the environment at mines, managing recovered mine areas, rectifying environmental problems discovered during the inspection, and urging mining companies to maintain the achievements of environmental protection.
