Guiyang inaugurates key land, mineral reserves sub-centers

Two sub-centers for the Guiyang center of land and mineral resources reserve were inaugurated on Nov 9 in Guiyang city, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The sub-centers for the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone – or Guiyang HIDZ – and the Guiyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, or Guiyang ETDZ, will focus on the land and mineral resources reserves.

They will undertake planning and make key decisions, as well as innovate service concepts, to contribute more to regional economic development.

The Guiyang HIDZ will adjust measures to local conditions to boost the zone's reserves of land for industrial use. The departments in the zone's sub-center will enhance communications and work together to provide strong support for its economic and social development.

Meanwhile, the Guiyang ETDZ will help its sub-center accelerate the consolidation of various departments. It will focus on the arrangements concerning the Guiyang Bureau of National Resources and Planning and the ETDZ's actual situation.

This sub-center is expected to improve the levels of government work, boost the acquiring of theoretical knowledge and help officials to adapt to new business, with the aim of achieving new breakthroughs at new starting points and promoting the ETDZ's economic growth.
