Meeting held on natural resource planning law enforcement

A work session was held on Feb 16 to ensure the high-quality development of the law enforcement work related to Guiyang's natural resource planning. Guiyang is the capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

Attendees at the meeting learned about a series of circulars issued by the central government targeting illegal mining and unlawful land practices.

Officials in the law enforcement team and interested government units were urged at the meeting to increase their awareness, fulfill their duties, report their work to major cadres and to gain support from the upper levels of government in addressing problems.

All the staff of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning were urged to strengthen the protection of arable land and other natural resources, as well as to roll out proactive measures to restore abandoned mines.
