Guiyang bureau launches economic zone fact-finding tour

A fact-finding team from the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, led by bureau deputy director Hu Xin, on Feb 17 visited the Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone – located in Guiyang, capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou province.

The team comprised officials from the farming land protection and village and town planning office, as well as the municipal urban-rural planning and design institute.

During the trip, the visitors were given briefings on the farming land, the economy, industries and the incomes of the residents of Dadi village, located in the zone.

The team analyzed obstacles hindering arable land preservation, agricultural development and the planning of land for construction.

Hu pointed out the necessity to deploy industries based on the village's geographical characterstics, in order to increase the income of residents and reduce the income gap.
