Guiyang holds review of geological hazards investigations

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning – located in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province – held a review on Feb 24 of geological hazards investigations that were launched previously by the city.

Experts and specialists, from the Bureau of Geology and Mineral Exploration and Development of Guizhou Province and the Guizhou Geological Environment Monitoring Institute, were invited to assess the work.

Representatives from Kaiyang county, Wudang, Nanming, Baiyun, Yunyan, Guanshanhu, and Huaxi districts delivered reports on their geological hazard investigations.

Afterwards, the expert panel scrutinized the related texts, tables and statistics from the data base, offering targeted proposals and suggestions.
