Leader responds to CPC provincial congress

The 13th CPC Guizhou Provincial Congress was held in Guiyang, capital of Southwest China's Guizhou province, on April 25.

The director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, Gao Yang, lauded reports by the 12th CPC Guizhou Provincial Committee and the 12th CPC Guizhou Provincial Discipline Inspection Committee that were delivered during the proceedings.

Gao pledged to adhere to the human-centered new path of urbanization and integrate the human factor into all the city planning, construction and management procedures. This would make Guiyang and Guian New Area a blessed and hospitable place where businesses thrive.

A coordinated development pattern is understood to have been established for Guiyang and Guian. This has not only benefited all the districts of the two regions, but also accelerated the development of the central Guizhou urban agglomeration.

Plans are for the bureau to continue to put together overall spatial plans, optimize the land development layout and to parallel develop it with environmental protection.

In addition, bureau officials will renew their efforts to build 15-minute life circles, improve the quality of parking lots and farm produce markets, and accelerate the renovation of shanty towns, old residential areas and city laneways.
