A research team led by Gao Yang, head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, and Li Chunsheng, deputy head of the bureau, visited Kaiyang county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on July 26 to inspect the local government's mine restoring progress .

The team visited several open-pit mines and abandoned mines with the assistance of drones and made sure whether the mine restoration work is being strictly implemented according to the green mine construction plan. They also inspected a high-standard farmland during their visit.

A work symposium was also held, in which the team was briefed on the local government's reports of the illegal occupation of farmland and the restoration of mine ecosystems.
