Work session held on land use plan

Liu Ji, chief engineer of the Second Institute of Surveying and Mapping of Guizhou Province, led a research team on a visit to the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning on Aug 11 to offer guidance on the use of construction land and land for commercial and business facilities.

A meeting was held that day, attended by officials from the bureau and representatives from the natural resource planning departments of Guiyang's districts, counties and development zones. Leaders of the Guiyang bureau of commerce, Guiyang bureau of investment promotion, and Guiyang bureau of industry and information technology also attended the meeting.

During the session, Liu explained successful land resource investigation and emergency response cases with the assistance of emerging technologies, such as AI, drones, and spatial analysis using big data.

Then the land map project for business promotion was interpreted in terms of its background, significance, work missions, responsibilities and construction standards.

Xiao Ang, deputy head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, said the bureau will lead the relevant government bodies of Guiyang's districts, counties and development zones in proceeding with the land work.
