Real estate registration now completed in 3 days

The time required to complete real estate registration in Guiyang (Guian New Area is not included), Southwest China's Guizhou province has been reduced from five to three working days.

The move was in response to the reform launched by the State Council to delegate power, simplify procedures and optimize government services.

Relevant government staff members dealing with the registration work are required to reduce unnecessary material applications and approval procedures as much as possible, boost information-sharing among different departments, and make to-do lists for all kinds of government services related to real estate registration.

Individuals are now allowed to go over the procedures in a single service window, and will be less likely to travel between different government departments. By the end of August this year, the government had handled 200,000 real estate registrations.

In addition, Guiyang has also worked with 625 banks and their branches, and signed contract agreements with 332 real estate companies to carry out online real estate registration services. Guiyang reported that 86,000 such cases were handled online over the first eight months of this year.
