Deputy director inspects geological disaster prevention work

Xiao Ang, deputy director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, carried out an inspection of Kaiyang county, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province on Oct 19, focusing on the natural disaster prevention and control work going on in the county.

A work session was held on the same day, in which Xiao informed local officials of the latest safe production requirements, and urged them to conduct related investigations in key industrial fields to discover hidden hazards.

The deputy director also learned about the natural disaster situation by asking nearby villagers, and looked through related log books and standing books.
