The Guiyang government in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, has recently issued a plan for the existing dilapidated houses in the city.
According to the plan, the deadline for the short-term governance is after the Spring Festival of 2023. Before that time, a number of dangerous buildings will be reinforced, rebuilt, or renewed.
For dilapidated houses in the same area, the local government will communicate with the property owners, and prioritize the city renewal and land development options.
If such houses are distributed in a scattered way, then rebuilding them where they are will be better, and will not affect the overall city planning.
The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning is urged to make the dilapidated house rebuilding and land development project more convenient through relevant procedures.
