Bureau holds session on power delegation

In response to Guiyang's call to reform and delegate more power to governments at lower levels, streamline work procedures and optimize government services, Li Chunsheng, deputy head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, held a work session on May 10.

The goal was to discuss the specific work involved in the government review and approval power delegation to corresponding government bodies in various districts and development zones of Guiyang.

Li urged lower-level government bodies to fully prepare for the move by arranging the appropriate staff members, funds and government service windows for their new services and responsibilities.

The government review and approval power for land transfers for industrial purposes or projects will then be delegated to natural resources and planning departments at the district level.
