Bureau holds lecture on laws and regulations

On Aug 8, Ouyang Wei, deputy director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, introduced a lecture about the laws and regulations that apply to Guiyang's natural resources and planning system. The purpose of the lecture was to enhance the understanding and competence of carrying out administrative activities in accordance with the law.

The lecture was conducted by Ruan Yuan from the policy and regulation division of the bureau and Ye Shijun from the bureau's branch in Xiuwen county.

During his lecture on government information disclosure, Ruan Yuan stressed the importance of all relevant departments and units recognizing their issues and implementing the government information disclosure system. This would ensure that the public has the right to know, supervise, and participate by law, ultimately improving the credibility and transparency of administrative organs.

Ye Shijun elaborated on the illegal use of arable lands, urging that protecting farmlands is related to national food security and social stability.
