Liu Qixin, director of the real estate registration center of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, led a team of key local officials to launch field research on the mine governance and renovation work in Qingzhen city, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on Aug 29.
The research team was accompanied by key local officials, including Qingzhen's mayor, and those responsible for water management, transportation, environment protection, and natural resources.
Liu emphasized the need for the local government to give priority to the concerns raised by the community and ensure mine restoration work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations. The rehabilitated areas should be regularly maintained and protected with appropriate measures.
