Farmland protection meeting stresses officials' responsibility

The Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning held a farmland protection symposium via video link on Sept 22.

The meeting was attended online by the bureau's branches in all districts of the city, urging government officials in the natural resources and planning departments to be responsible for farmland protection measures and their effects on the lands they have been assigned to.

Officials were also required to make plans for the future protection of farmland, and all phased tasks should be fulfilled according to the schedule.
