On Nov 20, He Moujun, director of Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, visited the Guiyang geographic information surveying and mapping institute.
During the discussion meeting, He listened to the work report of the institute and gained a detailed understanding of production and management, talent development, key projects, and development directions.
He underscored the importance of introducing practical and high-performance equipment in alignment with demand. The director also emphasized the need to deepen the application of innovative technologies such as big data, cloud computing, artificial intelligence, and laser radar. The acceleration of the establishment of a new basic surveying and mapping system was highlighted, with a focus on strengthening the foundation of spatial and temporal information positioning. Additionally, there was an emphasis on enriching essential spatial and temporal data resources, alongside a concerted effort towards talent introduction and reserve.
