The 2023 Guizhou Geographic Information Surveying and Mapping Competition concluded on Nov 23 in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province. The delegation representing the Guiyang geographic information surveying and mapping institute won the first prize. Four individuals from the institute were selected as the top four best performers of the contest.
The provincial departments of natural resources and human resources held the event, along with other units. A total of 50 delegations from research institutions, companies, and universities throughout Guizhou participated in the game.
Under the support and guidance of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, the Guiyang geographic information surveying and mapping institute won the game, as it has always done since the first edition of the competition.

Faced with challenges and pressure, members of the institute's delegation formulated scientific training plans and prepared for the contest with professional theoretical foundations and proficient practices.
