Annual safe production work meeting held in Guiyang

On Dec 27, 2023, He Moujun, head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, presided over the annual safe production work report meeting that specified the bureau's work responsibilities for 2024.

He listened to members' speeches and remarked on them, pointing out the existing problems and overall solutions, and revealed his plan on safe production work for the year.

Over the last year, the bureau established a full-fledged safe production accountability system and further divided specific tasks to prevent major safe production accidents and natural disasters from happening. The meeting also broached topics, such cracking down on illegal activities against the existing safe production principles.

The meeting suggested that in 2024, measures will be taken to focus on geological investigation, surveying and mapping, as well as forest fire prevention and ecological restoration.
