Gui'an focuses on forest fire prevention

With Guiyang City and Gui'an New Area initiating a level IV emergency response to forest fires, the administrative committee of the new area has convened multiple meetings on forest fire prevention to ensure the safety of people's lives and property.

The city's safety supervision bureau has optimized the setup of all 94 of its forest fire checkpoints, exercising comprehensive control over individuals entering the mountains for worship. It is also promoting regulations related to fire use in forests and other natural environments through door-to-door explanations and the distribution of fire prevention manuals.

For instance, Gaofeng town has implemented inspections on personnel and vehicles entering the forested areas, conducting a comprehensive investigation of potential hazards. Simultaneously, the town has also carried out maintenance and inspections on facilities, equipment, and vehicles related to fire prevention and extinguishment.

Additionally, the city has strengthened personnel training, developed contingency plans, conducted fire drills, and enhanced its emergency response capabilities.
