Guiyang holds real estate development meeting

On Feb 22, the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning held a municipal work session for real estate enterprises. He Moujun, head of the bureau, hosted and addressed the meeting.

It was pointed out in the work session that the real estate industry is a crucial supporting pillar for China's economy. It spans a variety of other industries and is significant to city construction.

The aim of the meeting was to thoroughly analyze the current real estate market, solicit opinions from real estate developers, and solve their current problems, in order to boost their confidence.

It was urged in the meeting that the industry needs to establish a new development model, and that relevant issues need to be addressed. These issues include the ratio of commercial to residential properties and the standards for planning indicators.

The meeting was then followed by proposals made by 12 local real estate firms.
