Annual work meeting specifies overall work requirements for 2024

The 2024 Guiyang natural resources and planning work meeting took place on March 1, summarizing the overall work done in 2023, and laying out the major tasks and objectives to be fulfilled this year.

The meeting was addressed by Gao Yang, deputy mayor of Guiyang, and He Moujun, head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning.

Some of the emphasized goals for this year are to stabilize the city's resource security, optimize national land layout, promote green and low-carbon development, and maintain rights and interests as they relate to natural resources.

He urged that a full-life-cycle management pattern covering the land storage, approval, supply, use, regulation and assessment will be adopted, and local mines will be managed in a more precise manner, to transform resource advantages into economic ones.

The business environment is expected to be further improved, and efforts will also be made to create a highly efficient natural resource government service environment.
