On April 10, He Moujun, head of Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, visited Guanshanhu district in Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, to learn about the work progress regarding farmland protection and geological disaster prevention and control.
He conducted field research on the farmland in Guanshanhu Park, and presided over a work meeting to listen to related work reports and future plans, recognizing the achievements made by the officials of the bureau's Guanshanhu branch.
He then urged these officials to strengthen their business capacities, take their farmland protection responsibilities more seriously, and finish the previously assigned targets and tasks.
In addition, the district is expected to expand its land reserve and supply, enhance the utilization of its vacant land, and specify work plans. Efforts should also be made to improve geological disaster governance, workers' safety in construction projects, and the advancement of abandoned mine restoration work.
