On April 12, He Moujun, director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, organized a research trip to the Guiyang National High-tech Industrial Development Zone (Guiyang HIDZ) to investigate the planning and construction progress of Guizhou Science City.

He emphasized the need to advance the construction of Guizhou Science City with high standards and high quality. He also underscored the need to comprehensively and effectively manage land utilization throughout the entire construction course.

During the visit to the Luoge Lake Reservoir in the Shawen Industrial Park of the Guiyang HIDZ, He Moujun and his team were briefed on the progress of the science city's construction progress, inquired about the existing difficulties in project advancement, and inspected the protection of arable land in the construction area.

He Moujun stressed the importance of strengthening objective-oriented principles, and promoting the high-end, intelligent, and green development of this project. He urged the construction team to optimize and improve the overall land use spatial planning of the zone in accordance with the highest standards and latest requirements.

He also emphasized the need to strengthen land use control, focusing on the protection of arable land and the control of illegal construction. By leveraging technologies such as satellite imagery and aerial photography, the management of construction land should be mapped out, focusing on the needs of production entities and residential communities within the planning scope.
