In order to fulfill Guiyang's annual abandoned mine restoration task, officials from the ecological restoration office of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, together with members of the supporting unit Guizhou Non-ferrous Geology Engineering Investigation Co, went to check three abandoned mine restoration projects in Yunyan district, Guiyang, Southwest China's Guizhou province, on May 22.

At the abandoned mine at Yanghui village of the Jinhui community, a temporary land occupation phenomenon was found, and some parts of the mine were still not covered with vegetation. The bureau suggested that stones at the mine be cleaned away, and that other supplementary greening measures be taken.
