The Guiyang municipal bureau of natural resources and planning held a detailed meeting revolving around relevant mining issues with Guiyang Mineral Energy Investment Group Co on July 5.
The meeting saw discussions on the progress of precision exploration and precision mining allocation and issues encountered in the current work.
The main issues faced by the group are difficulties selecting and finalizing the location for the building materials industrial park and delays in subsequent land use procedures; difficulties in integrating mining rights and mineral resources across districts and counties; and unclear aspects regarding some funding policies.
The following is a summary of the issues discussed in the meeting:
Timely communication and coordination are essential, with specific analysis for specific issues, adopting a tailored approach for each mine.
For the building materials industrial park, it has been suggested that the group complete preliminary overall planning, focus on projects that can be implemented in the near term, pay particular attention to land use support and guarantees within the sand and gravel mining area, and actively communicate and report to the bureau's control division.
For phosphate and aluminum minerals that require provincial mining allocation, it is necessary to thoroughly investigate the data related to the three zones and three lines, ecological red lines, and mineralization conditions, establish a key project ledger, and strive for geological exploration funds and provincial support.
For the exploration projects of kaolin and barite at the municipal level, it is important to investigate the resource availability and industry allocation direction to provide support and a basis for the later stages of precision mining allocation.
