Guiyang official inspects Colorful Guizhou City urban planning upgrades

He Moujun, director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, visited Guizhou Shuanglong Airport Economic Zone on May 14 to inspect the progress of the urban planning enhancement project for Colorful Guizhou City.

He toured several areas, including Jieqing Street and the Long March Pavilion. He reviewed the utilization of river space, landscape management, and land reserves, and outlined upcoming priorities.

He emphasized the importance of comprehensive planning, calling for the integration of spatial, industrial, transportation, and architectural plans. He emphasized the importance of integrating intangible cultural heritage into urban development, ensuring that local identity and cultural richness are reflected throughout the planning and construction processes.

He highlighted the enforcement of planning regulations, urging a phased implementation and enhanced supervision of major project approvals to bring the city's blueprint to life.

He also stressed ecological landscape enhancement, urging the protection of forested areas and the ecological corridor along the Zuimei River, and called for improvements in the visual design of transportation hubs and supporting facilities to create a safer and more attractive urban environment.
