The 2025 Guiyang Land Promotion Conference, with the tagline "Exploring New Opportunities, Shaping a New Future", was held on May 29 at the Guiyang Urban and Rural Planning Exhibition Hall.
Organized by the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, the event attracted over 60 leading real estate enterprises and professional industry associations from across China.
It featured a range of promotional activities, including on-site land tours, value interpretation sessions, exhibitions, brochures, digital land selection tools, and breakout discussions.
A total of 25 land parcels – covering 2,897 mu (193.13 hectares) – were introduced, categorized into three categories: infrastructure-supportive, quality-improvement, and summer-resort. Investment intent agreements were signed between district governments and eight leading property developers.
Participating companies expressed strong confidence in Guiyang's development potential and pledged to seize policy and market opportunities, increase investments, create benchmark projects, and remain deeply committed to the city. Their efforts aim to support the shift from "housing for all" to "livable housing for all," lighting up Guiyang's urban future with more quality homes.

Guiyang is making full use of its strategic location, environmental advantages, and favorable policies to accelerate development under the "Strengthening the Provincial Capital" initiative. The city continues to polish its national reputation as both "China's Summer Resort" and "China's Data Valley".
In 2024, Guiyang achieved three major milestones in land sales: a record-high average transaction price for commercial and residential land, increased land premium rates, and a significant rise in land acquisition by private enterprises – reflecting strong market confidence in the city's future prospects.
Looking ahead, Guiyang aims to advance high-quality urbanization, deepen real estate supply-side reforms, improve the business environment, and unleash urban vitality. By using land as a medium, industry as the foundation, and innovation as the driving force, the city is committed to working alongside entrepreneurs to build a shared future of prosperity and opportunity.
At the conference, He Moujun, director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, delivered a comprehensive presentation painting Guiyang as a livable, promising, and investment-worthy city from six perspectives. He invited businesses to take part in Guiyang's transformation and jointly shape a new blueprint for urban development.
