Guiyang advances comprehensive land consolidation

He Moujun, director of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, coordinated a work session on July 28 to review the city's comprehensive land consolidation work.

He emphasized the need to deepen reform and innovation, follow local conditions, and continuously improve project quality and implementation effectiveness, aiming to create demonstration projects and highlights with Guiyang characteristics.

He reviewed reports from the city land reserve center and various districts, addressed existing challenges, and deployed key tasks for the next phase. He pointed out that comprehensive land consolidation is a crucial measure to activate and optimize land resources, promote urban-rural integration, and facilitate the equal exchange and two-way flow of urban and rural factors, driving the integration of primary, secondary, and tertiary industries in rural areas.

He also emphasized the importance of strengthening city-level coordination, holding industry departments accountable, and utilizing policy-based financial institutions. The work mechanism includes regular scheduling, expert review teams for project implementation plans, and focused consultation on major issues, all aimed at improving the accuracy, standardization, and effectiveness of project review.

He further called for enhanced collaboration, refinement of project implementation plans, timely submission for approval, and careful attention to results, ensuring that comprehensive land consolidation achieves tangible outcomes for urban-rural development.
