Guizhou highlights mapping and national territory awareness

On Aug 29, the Geological Museum of Guizhou hosted the province's Mapping Law Awareness Day and National Territory Awareness Week.

The event featured interactive exhibits, a display of geospatial equipment, and the winners of the 10th Guizhou Children's Hand-Drawn Map Contest.

Guiyang's bureau of natural resources and planning led public engagement, distributing over 1,200 brochures and 400 souvenirs, answering questions, and guiding visitors.

By promoting proper map use and showcasing the role of geospatial information in high-quality development, the event aimed to strengthen public awareness of China's national territory and inspire patriotism.
