In the national children's hand-drawn map contest during the 2024–2025 school year, Guizhou students stood out with 44 award-winning works.
The contest was organized by the Publicity and Education Center of the Ministry of Natural Resources. Since its launch, 31 provinces submitted over 1,800 works for the national finals.
After being professionally evaluated, 360 outstanding pieces were selected across three age groups (6-8, 9-12, 13-15), with 20 first prizes, 40 second prizes, and 60 third prizes in each group.
Guizhou's strong performance highlights the province's efforts to promote map knowledge and foster creativity among its young learners.
