He Moujun, head of the Guiyang bureau of natural resources and planning, presided over a meeting on Guiyang's farmland protection work on Oct 15.
During the meeting, He listened to reports from municipal, county, and development zone departments, as well as from district-level natural resources authorities. The participants discussed challenges in farmland protection and explored potential solutions.
He urged all departments to strengthen their sense of responsibility, comply with national and provincial standards, enhance coordination, and do their utmost to achieve the 2025 goals for farmland protection.

He also called for a comprehensive review of potential risk factors that may affect assessment scores, recommending tailored measures to address each issue. He emphasized the importance of setting clear timelines and roadmaps to ensure all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
In addition, he highlighted the need for strong coordination, technical guidance, and adequate financial and human resource support at the county level to ensure the effective implementation of all measures.
