Guizhou leads the way in modernizing mineral resource management

Mineral resources are a crucial foundation for economic and social development, and their exploration and development are closely tied to national security and livelihoods. The province has identified 137 types of mineral resources, 67 of which rank among the top ten nationwide. Key minerals such as phosphorus, coal, aluminum, manganese, gold, barite, and fluorite are strategically important.

Advanced technologies, including satellite remote sensing, high-precision geophysical surveys, and AI-driven predictive models, are applied to identify promising areas, improve targeting accuracy, and boost success rates.
